"THIS I BELIEVE"

I believe that music is one of the most powerful forms of communication and expression known to mankind. Sadly, the power of music often goes unnoticed and underappreciated. As teachers, we must strive to show students that music is truly in the eye of the beholder and that “where words fail, music speaks”- Hans Christian Anderson. Fine arts are the universal glue that helps keep the human species connected through the showcasing of individual expression that is comprehensive to all.

SELF-ASSESSMENT AND PROFESSIONAL GOALS

As a teacher one will find that one never truly figures it out. There is always more to learn and things that one can improve. This is what makes teaching so enjoying and fresh. I feel that learning is a very natural and essential part of everyday life.

CLASSROOM EVALUATION

(Samples Within Link)

As teachers we must look at evaluations as a chance for improvement rather than dreading them as papers full negative critique. Turn the negative into positivity by using it to improve your classroom. Attached are a few samples that depict critiques and how one could go about fixing them to create a better learning environment.
